Zambia

Zambia - the Butterfly in the Heart of Africa

Zambia is a beautiful country with great nature, rich wildlife, wonderful waterfalls, and in particular, it is the home of the famous Victoria Falls.

But Zambia is also a nation in deep need, since it is one of the world's poorest countries. More than 80% of the people live below the subsistence level, and the latest UN report shows that the poverty of Zambia is still increasing.

The majority of the people live with less than one dollar (US) a day, and more than 20% of the population suffer from HIV/AIDS. As a consequence, there are about a million children living with a single parent or none at all.

So since the needs are huge, there is a lot to be done.

Bible Verse

Behold I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
(Rev 3:8)
